Our Story
We understand that there are never enough hours in the day to complete all the tasks and activities required in an operational setting. Unexpected events and pressing matters often pull us away from vital data analysis. Finding the time to examine, collate and report geotechnical hazards is a constant challenge.
Time…
We believe that geotechnical engineers should focus their time and expertise on solving problems, not wasting valuable hours organising data. However, organising data is a necessary step in solving those very problems. It doesn't make sense for geotechnical engineers to complete detailed inspections only to spend more time manually entering that data into a database.
Some of the most valuable geotechnical information and insights come from thorough pit inspections and leveraging the experience of the engineer on site. In addition, geotechnical engineers must document events, update reports, issue hazard alerts, and craft emails that effectively convey risks.
As a consequence, vital data is either lost or not readily available during critical decision-making moments when geotechnical engineers are asked the simplest yet most difficult questions: Is the slope stable? Is it safe?
We knew there had to be a better way...
